You live similar to us. We work when we want to. Sometimes we get caught up at the computers too long and then nothing gets done.
It is nice to be able to have the freedom to work when you need to. Then if an idea comes to you, you have the ability to sit down and work when it is fresh in your head.
Yeah, freedom to work at our own time is always great and will give flexibility we want.
I worked in 9 to 6 kind of environment for almost like 11 years and now I don't feel like going back to that kind of work. Although the income is less, but there are some savings from my previous full time job.
I am inspired by many people who quit their job to be full time on Steemit. Crypto currencies are partially banned in India, but we are hopefull that that ban will be lifted because Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are gaining popularity.
Working a day job is ok. I agree that having the freedom to live the way you want is better. It is good you have some savings to pull from if you need to.
It is too bad that crypto currencies are partially banned there. So you must be saving like crazy in your steemit account. I do hope that the ban is lifted soon. It is crazy that they put these restrictions on the people. It really does stop us form getting ahead and living a better life.
Not sure whether there will be a lift on the ban, guys here talking about alternate methods to get the crypto currencies converted, i have to explore on that. At this point of time, I am just accumulating those.
The main reasons government is giving in support of these bans is that, if they enable cryptocurrencies, there will be issues with tax on the income from these currencies and also it may give an easy option to illegal businesses.
We have to wait and see as we are going to have National elections early next year.
We convert our steem into Canadian dollars. There are steemians out there that will convert steem into currency. Then we use paypal to recieve money. I am not sure if that would work where you are. If you need more information you can ask @wwf. Accumulating steem is good. When it goes up you will be in a good position.
Yes the governments do hold things back. This seems to be how it goes. As we have talked about before, things need to change in that department. That needs to change here as well.
Actually, some people have fiat currency in their bank account and we sell them steem or SBD directly. We send them the steem and they then send us the equivalent in fiat dollars through the traditional banking system or give us cash directly. That way the government or banks have no idea what it is about. They can get involved through the exchanges, but when we bypass the exchanges and just do it ourselves, then they have no clue. They would have to do a bunch of work to put it all together and frankly, there is just too much data for them to put all the pieces together. Doing it this way, we also save the costs associated with converting steem to bitcoin and then to another currency and then another. The costs can get high.
Steem can travel around the globe with no intervention from the banks or the governments. Moving fiat currency is the issue, but most people can do it due to the international banking agreements that are in place, plus using tools like paypal to facilitate that process.

Definitely, i have experienced this recently as the service charge of converting currencies is way too high.

Recently some Cryptocurrency exchanges here filed a petition on ban of crypto and we are just hoping we get some good news. But, definitely it will take time and till that time, I think I can follow you guys method of receiving through Paypal.

We can't even imagine a day without internet, we depend on internet for everything right from paying bills, recharging mobile currency, check our emails and everything.
