In big boost, Congress keeps BJP out in key Madhya Pradesh seat
The Congress has won the crucial by-elections of Chitrakoot in Madhya Pradesh, beating the BJP by an edge of more than 14,000 votes.
The seat, a Congress bastion, had fallen empty after the passing of its sitting administrator Prem Singh after a drawn out disease in May. Mr Singh had won the gathering body electorate, circumscribing Uttar Pradesh, in the 1998, 2003 and 2013 races. Be that as it may, in 2008, he had lost the seat to BJP's Surendra Singh Gaharwar.
