Kasar devi (ALMORA) UTTARAKHAND ,INDIA

I visited there for first time when I was 8 years old and than the place become my personal favorite . If you haven't visited the place once in your life you must visit , other wise your life is worthless. I'm sharing my experience non another than the beautiful place kasar devi. Kasar devi is situated in between greenery of cultural city Almora, Uttarakhand. A place which is well known for its peaceful nature. A place which is highlighted after lockdown . As we know 2020 was cruel year for all of us , through this year people got effected mentally alot. When the talk come around meditation people look no further than Uttrakhand's kasar devi.

What make the place so peaceful and famous?
Let me not took you into complex science terminologies and explain to you the simplest way I can..... In year 1958 , NASA discovered the earth is surrounded by 2 donuts shaped zones of high energy particle held and captured by powerful magnetism of the earth. These zones are known by van Allen belt. Studies showed 3 places impact under the magnetism of van Allen belt one of them is known as kasar devi.

Swami Vivekanand visited the place in 1890's and have great then here.

By Air: Pantnagar is the nearest airport.

By Rail: A Shatabdi runs daily from New Delhi to Kathgodam. You can hire a taxi to Kasar Devi from Kathgodam or take a shared cab to Almora, from where you can take another cab to Kasar Devi. Kasar devi is only 9 km away than main city.

By Road: Kasardevi lies on the Almora-Bageshwar highway. If you are in the mood for adventure, you can also hike up to Kasar Devi from Almora.
Distance and route from Delhi: 395km;NH24 to Rampur; NH87 to Rudrapur; SH to Haldwani; NH87 to Ranibagh via Kathgodam; SH to Bhowali via Bhimtal; NH87 to Almora via Khairna and Suyalbari; district road to Kasar Devi via Binsar and Ayarpani.
