My journey to the Himalayas- heavy snowfall on the way to Champawat.
Greetings Steemians!
I had to go to Champawat, Uttarakhand during the last week for an urgent piece of work. It was a long and uncomfortable journey through hill roads. Suddenly, it started rain and I had to stop somewhere much before my destination. Soon snowfall started and roads were fully covered with fresh snow.
These the the photographs after the weather became clear.
It took many hours for us to see a clear day but it was a very pleasant site to see the sun.
I took all photos with my smartphone.
Soon, it became dark when I reached my destination. Again I took journey early in the morning. Snowfall had become very slippery because of frost. Vehicles got stuck in the snow. It took lots of efforts to get out of there.
After lots of difficulties I could reach my destination. It was a pleasant journey but it was very risky as well.

I must admit that seeing those photos make me ... envy you. We're surrounded with technology and such a harsh nature sounds like an amazing escape. Even if just for a little bit ...

Thank you dear! Thanks for your friendship and care. I tried to write on variety of subjects a long ago but now I am very busy. So, it becomes difficult to write lengthy posts. Also, steem platform has lost much of its shine and now writing has become less encouraging because of lack of active users on this platform.
