Meta-cognition is something I've been familiar for a while and observing my own thoughts is something I've been doing for a while now.
I've been getting back into running and I've gotten into the flow state with increasingly better results over time. Applying the same state for everyday life is a bit harder though but achievable for sure.
Good to hear! Like you say applying it to everyday life is harder, however I think things like meta-cognition can really help to put you in the zone almost all the time :-)
