How to make passive income

What is passive income?

First, you will need to understand the difference between active and passive income. Active income is earning money in exchange for the time that you are working. If you work five hours, you will get paid a certain amount of money. If you stop working while earning active income, you will not get paid.

Passive income works differently. The idea behind passive income is to work hard right now and get paid later even when you are not working at that exact moment. You can basically take a week off and still earn the same amount of money you did any other week. Of course, you will need to monitor your project, but that takes only a little amount of energy.

Passive income is usually based on earning money by offering something to a big amount of people. Steemit, for example, is a way of earning passive income but there are a lot of other things you can do that will take little to no skill.

So there are two types of passive income.
1: Information, in form of a picture, an article, a video or something else, that teaches someone something about something that just happened or will happen in the near future. This will probably get the most attention just before and just after the thing you gave information about.

2: Something that can always be used. Something that will be interesting five years after you have created it. This will not necessarily make more than type one but it will give you money a long time after you have created it.

Now you know the basics of passive income but you will need to find your way to earning it. There are a lot of ideas where you can choose from, the most famous of them is probably starting a youtube channel. The thing is, you need to give it your own twist. You need to make it special or people won't like it.
