Lot of important news to cover when it comes to sp leases, as well as revising our future plans a tad bit.

SP Leases

Well well well....this was unfortunately very unexpected. Yesterday I got a message from minnowbooster informing that 600sp lease was expiring in 3 days. Luckily I still had enough steem for this and didn’t mind much, as I put an order on the market right away. However this was rather annoying, as I hadn’t been accounting to the 11 or so steem that I had to pay for it. I just assumed that it would still all be fine, and that the power down would help pay for the leases while the subscription fees would pay for the minnow booster leases. However after putting my order up, I realized that hardly anyone is actually using Minow Booster and the ones that are already know who they are filling. For example my APR is over 17% and failing to be filled, while multiple are lower than 14% and still being filled. Well, then came the bombshell today. Currently I receive leases by 3 different guys and I pay them out per week. Unfortunately one of them needs to remove the sp in order to start one of his own initiatives on Steemit and was kind enough to give a 2 week warning. But if you now remember, that means we need to find 2,100 sp ASAP in order to make up for the sp we are about to lose. I put a lease on the Minnow Booster market once more after cancelling the first for 800 sp and we are hoping it can get filled now.

What’s This Mean?

This overall will have little impact on your upvotes, as we will have the funding required to lease it. But of course there is always two sides to this, and in order to fund it we will need to budget out other things. The thing we will be budgeting out will be our SBI Shares that we are hoping to grow to over 500 (currently at 62, with around another 10 still needing to be enrolled). We were thinking of an aggressive push to increase our shares, with the goal being 8 steem for this week or 16 shares. This week will definitely be cancelled and potentially next week as well. We hope to keep it up after this mess is fixed, but apologizes again as we are forced to slow the sbi share growth.
