Is Your Website a Marketing Hub?

If you were one of them then you are in a bad place! But who they are? ..They are the folks who still take three seconds answering the question: Is Your Website a Marketing Hub? ...

I assume their answer would be: Yes, I already purchased a fancy Prime theme, or, I hired the most expensive web designer I found on Upwork! That may be cool but I didn't mean that at all!

So, how can I know if my company website is a Marketing Hub?...If your answer to all these questions is yes then congratulations:

• Do you have a blog?
• Are you an active publisher following a predefined publishing plan?
• Is your list of email subscribers increasing gradually?
• Is RSS-enabled for your site?
• Are all the Articles/Blogs professional, and display your authority and dedication to your field?
• Can your website pull people from different platforms?

But in case your answer to all or some of these questions is No, then before you begin making any changes take some time to measure where you currently stand in order to track your progress and results as you implement changes.

What should you measure?

You should start with:

• The number of subscribers you have. They are the people who subscribe to your RSS feed and e-mail list.
• The number of people who are following you on social media sites, including fans of your Facebook page, members of your LinkedIn Group, and followers on Twitter.
• The number of links back to your website from other websites. For that, you can use the free version of MOZ Open Site Explorer.
• The number of organic keywords that are producing traffic to your site on Google. For that, you can use Google Analytics.

The combination of your reach through blog subscribers, social media followers, links to your site, and traffic-producing keywords will generate a granted Boost for your Business as it became as easy as possible for people who may be your prospective customers to find your company online.
