Most musicians put in a lot of effort in producing singles, albums, etc, but the musicians themselves turn out not to be the ones to benefit from their tireless efforts. Imusify wishes to create a platform that enables users to join hands with other fans and raise money for the musicians they love and support. The platform will consist of musicians, producers, and managers etc. to help support these musicians. The musicians themselves can also make money through P2P streaming, selling albums, singles and other events on the platform.

There are a lot of ways by which money is raised for musicians but the sad news is that the musicians themselves only get a small amount of this money collected. Imusify wants to give users the opportunity to support upcoming artists to launch their own albums. Tokens on the platform can be used to attend concerts to support musicians. Users also benefit by obtaining profits if they keep their wallets.
The introduction of the internet has made streaming of songs more popular than downloading. Musicians always feel less compensated and are not able to make much money on the songs they produce. Imusify platform wishes to create a platform that enables streaming, crowd funding, sharing media all under one platform. Artistes and fans can also interact with each other.

We have conducted a research on the music industry and video apps such as YouTube and spotify and have realized that these applications pay users just a small amount of money per stream, making musicians rely on larger views before they can make money. The sad news is that, these monies have to be shared among producers, managers, and all other persons that contribute to making their music dream a reality. In addition to this woe, musicians do not have total ownership to their own music. This is why Imusify wishes to imploy the use of blockchain technology and dApps to help solve this problem. We will ensure digital rights management, provide transparent payment and ensure licensing and monetization.

This platform uses the NEP-5 standard token to create IMU tokens which will be used for transactions on the platform. The token of choice is the IMU tokens which basically three uses. It can be used as a voucher; to pay for services on the platform. It is also used as a currency; to buy and sell goods on the platform.
