ARE YOU WONDERING HOW TO INCREASE YOUR CONCENTRATION? THAT CAN HELP YOU GET A SMARTER VERSION OF YOUR BRAIN? BOOST YOUR MEMORY AND CONCENTRATION POWER?

First of all, we need to understand the basic reasons for this lack of Concentration and Memory problems -

Lack of sleep :
You might be thinking Does sleep improve concentration ? or How lack of sleep impacts cognitive performance and focus?

So, Getting enough hours of high-quality sleep fosters attention and concentration, which are a prerequisite for most learning. Scientists measuring sleepiness have found that sleep deprivation leads to lower alertness and concentration. It's more difficult to focus and pay attention, so you're more easily confused. but here people tend to ask how many hours of sleep is necessary for good mental health or for improving our concentration? because lack of focus doesn't really allow a person to master a particular skill in which a person is trying to learn and upgrade himself. So here, Most adults need 7 or more hours of good-quality sleep on a regular schedule each night. Getting enough sleep isn't only about total hours of sleep. It's also important to get good-quality sleep on a regular schedule so you feel rested when you wake up.

Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety.

During sleep, your body is working to support healthy brain function and maintain your physical health. In children and teens, sleep also helps support growth and development. you might have noticed that small children sleep a lot. whole day whole night, it is because their body, (physical health) keeps building along with their mental abilities when they are asleep, so they need a higher amount of sleep as compared to adults. so the point here is that our body needs a good quality sleep so it can work on our health.

Hunger :

You might have these doubts as well (if, then let me know the in comments section ;) -

~ Does hunger affect your concentration?

~ How does hunger affect your thinking strategy?

~ And also, What about fasting? Does fasting increase Focus?

So here, is the explanation for your doubts :

~ people experiencing hunger are more likely to have problems with memory and concentration because they do not have the energy to carry out these functions. their brain is first in search of energy to follow their commands and desires. for example, you must have experienced that when your stomach is empty you realize that you no more have that capacity to give your 100% on a particular task of yours. but when you are full you can perform the same task more efficiently and smoothly and can give your 200% without any further doubts and confusion.

~ And as for fasting -

So, In fact, fasting puts mild stresses on brain cells, similar to how exercise does on the muscles. Your brain grows stronger and more resistant to neurodegenerative diseases through fasting. Fasting works to improve your neural circuitry, bolster concentration, and enhance focus.

Anxiety :

The impact of anxiety on cognitive function is a major contributing factor to your performance. anxiety disorders can promote a crippling focus upon negative life events and make concentration difficult, which can lead to problems in both social and work environments. So basically, when you are cool you focus more and your mind fits in your working environment. and you are able to focus more.

Stress can affect the ability to concentrate, and there have been studies conducted that prove that stress interferes with a person's ability to concentrate. In order to understand why it is so important to relax and not let stress affect your concentration and your focus, you must first understand the correlation between stress and concentration. for this, you can try an experiment on yourself - first, try to do your regular task when you are under stress, and second, do the same tasks when you are happy and have a cool state of mind. Being practical, you yourself know the difference in outcomes of both situations.

SO THESE WERE THE BASIC REASONS YOU MIGHT ALREADY HAVE EXPERIENCED BY YOURSELF. (haven't you ?)

Here are few tips that can help you improve your focus and concentration power as this one single activity of being able to focus will single-handedly take you to the path of Success :

TIP #01 :

PROGRAMMING - Now imagine you are driving in a car down this beautiful mountainous track, now what if you are sitting in the back seat of the car, chances are initially you are going to be looking out to see what's the scenery or keeping the track of route BUT after some time I guarantee you, you are gonna get bored and you're going to either start looking at your phone or you're going to fall off to sleep, And now just imagine that you are in the driver's seat, now no matter how many distractions are there or your phone is ringing, you're going to cut out everything and focus entirely on every oncoming vehicle. NOW, WHY SUCH A BIG DIFFERENCE ? the question is in our life are we in the driver's seat or someone else is driving our vehicle?

Distraction and Directions are inversely proportional'

so each time you start doing your studies or other work ask yourself AM I in the driver's seat of my life? and soon it's going to become your habit 👍

TIP #02 :

PRACTICE - Attention is a muscle and just like every other muscle of the body, it requires training. but for this, our basic problem is Distraction. we first have to avoid being distracted by other stuff like social media and more such things in our daily routine. BUT the question is How to do that?

~ Fix a ten minutes rule! take out 10 minutes of time where you can be alone and comfortable which is a room or place where you enjoy Studying or working before starting make sure that you have finished eating / drinking and keep your phones and laptops outside. then start from simply reading if you are a student or start your work and towards the end of 10 minutes just shut the book/work, close everything, and walk away from that room. your first experience is usually a bit unusual. and remember this less quantity of time will surely give you high quality of the outcome. gradually try to increase this time from 10 minutes to 20 to 40 and so on.

TIP #03 :

TRAIN YOUR MIND: Train your mind to first get interested in the topic you are studying or working on. your Interest matters a lot. if you don't have any curiosity or willingness to learn or do a particular task, how will your mind and body help you focus on that? you will start feeling sleepy and chances are in the first minutes, your mind will start making excuses and you will end up being distracted. So first, try to build your interest in that particular task or subject ask yourself Why this is important to learn or understand for me? , remind yourself of your goals and the benefits you will receive from this in the future.

As THE KEY TO SUCCESS IS TO FOCUS ON GOALS NOT OBSTACLES!.
