I am fortunate to worked overseas and stayed for 4 years, with the company to whom I worked with, took care everything about immigration. From the time we landed the country up to the time we decided to went back home. With them, there is no problem, in getting visa, everything was in schedule, you only need to wait for your appearance in the immigration. And I still remember when I need to renew my passport, they even gave me assistance to go to my embassy. Even if I stayed for that long I was not pushed to learn the language, we use English most of the time. But I think there's big diffference if you hold your own visa and took care of everything.
@puroypoi, there were times when the social foundation I worked with was able to assist with my families visa needs.
Unfortunately our host country changed the visa rules many, many times while we lived overseas. Toward of the end of our time overseas, the government banned third party representatives from helping with the visa process. That was brought!
Thanks for the comment. I appreciate you stopping by.
