I tried something similar with GoPro footage and editing later with color correction—still couldn't get the clarity those IMAX guys managed. Must be insane post-production and lighting underwater.

I’ve worked with underwater footage before, and trust me, stabilizing shots taken in strong currents is a real headache. What helped me level up was getting into camera movement theory and practical lighting at https://www.praguefilminstitute.cz. Their hands-on approach made it easier for me to prep better before shoots and not rely on fixing too much in post.
