Imaging a mat for transportation in future

I always watch gadgets and technology in Tech Insider page. Yesterday, I remembered my child dream about mat in Aladdin cartoon. I wanna ride a mat. I think that there will be popular for transportation in future if there is no need to drive, no wheel and perfect for riding in the air. Technicians should try this idea using latest technologies. Here is my future mat, can carry five persons to visit around the world.
