Happy Valentine's Day! Do your country celebrate? How do you celebrate? In Hong Kong, usually some gentlemen will buy flowers to ladies.The price of flowers will be extremely high. News reporter will interview some flower shop owners, asking how is the sales this year. / Some girls will buy or hand made chocolate and give it to the boy they love or to boyfriends. This practice becomes popular among this decade and from Japan I think. Of course, with the help of mass media, like dramas and shops' marketing and promotion too^^;
今天是情人節喔！世界上有多少地方會興祝這節目呢？在香港，通常是男士買花送給喜歡的女生或者女友。這天的花好貴喔！每年新聞記者還要特地去訪問花店老闆「今年生意如何」。而近十年左右吧，女生會買巧克力或者造手工的送男生。大概是從日劇日影那裡學的吧，也得謝謝各種媒體宣傳呢^^;

In the US, many people celebrate. My partner and I have never really been into it. Since this is our last baby-free week/weekend, though, we're planning to go out on to a nice dinner and maybe see a movie.
We've been together 8 years, so a standard date is a special occasion for us :P
