Black and White
I've been working on a large commission for a friend in between illness and doctors appointments. I'm up to 50 hours on it and the more I work on it the more the stresses of reality fade away. I get into the zone. I don't focus on anything else but whats in front of me. Each dot is a new thought each line is a new exploration into creating a world.
The more time I spend in this place the more I feel healthier, happy and at peace. There is no intruding thoughts or intense anxiety, just me and ink, paper and a whole world to create.
I am not working 9-5 job at the moment due to health issues. Just going to appointments, slef caring and making art. There is so much joy in this and I have to remind myself that this is my time for myself and take however long it takes to be somewhat functioning properly again.
