During the early 1990s an Illuminati card game was released in the United States.
The first sets of the trading cards became available in 1994 but went out of print by 1997.
The entire Illuminati set included 450 individual cards.
Starter decks were made up of 55 individual cards.
People could add to their starter decks by purchasing booster packs of 5 cards.
The cards predicted future events such as the attacks on 9/11, major players on the world stage like Trump, Hillary, Saddam Hussein, social upheavals and cultural phenomena.
In retrospect, what these cards seem to have predicted is INSANE!

Granted it's not hard to predict famine, war, 'fire'and famous contemporaries being relevant sometime in the distant future. I like your point about calling these events into existence sorta like life immitating art and vice versa.
