Let's Light This Candle!

We should help our STEEMIT Inc. team out, inundate them with great ideas of how to take STEEM & STEEMIT to the next level! Who knows, in this steady stream of there may be the one that gives this rocketship its inevitable ignition. What kinds of ideas? Well, anything you can imagine could lead to one of our fearless STEEMIT Inc. employees, picking up a phone and saying...

"Hey .. this is STEEMIT calling, you may have heard of us, we're going to be taking over eventually .. but in the meantime, what do you think about the possibility of us getting together and _______________?"

Obvious in General, but Here is a Specific Example ..

I know that this sort of thing has been "discussed" on the Slack or in the Git, or wherever, but here is one example of partnering with an established website, one that has been relatively successful, but which has constant difficulty maintaining active users and adding new ones - which is always a problem for social sites.

The fact that STEEM is all about self-expression and self-e'steem', we should be very appealing to entrepreneurial-minded women. Mogul has a relatively large userbase, that participates in discussions on forums separated into many categories. Given that we are engaging in a bit of analysis here, in my opinion the look of these forums is ... well, lacking. They have a comment upvoting mechanism, and the ability to follow other users - so the nomenclature is the same.

Now, as to motivation, I believe that the founder of this company, who is a tech savvy individual, would love to introduce the members of her site to the brave new world of blockchain technology, and the wealth generation potential of crypto-currency - Tiffany Pham would "get it". Further to motivation, the popularity of her site has been falling off a bit in recent months, according to Alexa ..

Announcing this new feature to the site, where their users can earn money by posting & upvoting .. given that the women participating on Mogul are "business-minded" (even have an active marketplace on the OnMogul.com website), I believe Mogul Inc. would see this as a means to re stimulate existing users, and attract new ones.

STEEMIT.com, although we have fewer users compared to Mogul Inc., are more popular .. again according to Alexa ..

So, we are not without proven track record of attracting users, and retaining them.

Technically Possible?

Some of you may ask .. "how do we integrate users in the way we do things here on STEEMIT.com!?", well ....good question! :-) The way I see it, we can be an addon to such sites, although I am unsure how exactly such a thing could be implemented .. we could have each user who wishes to participate, simply follow a link to create a STEEM account, the details of which would be attached to the Mogul Inc.'s user database entries. If a user who chose to participate looks at the posts of other users who have chosen to participate in STEEM, they will see an option to "Upvote with STEEM!" - the first person that does this will trigger a 'link-back' post to the STEEM blockchain, visible in STEEMIT.com .. kind of like how twitterbot works for us today. This gives a great cross-promotion benefit to Mogul Inc., which would further motivate them to participate in such a partnering.

Good Press, More 'Business/Investment-Oriented' Users ..

Sounds like a WIN, WIN .. WIN! Of course this is just an example .. so many other sites would love to add on this fantastic new feature, bringing one large group after another large group into the STEEM Universe!
