Upcycle, repurpose, zero waste ideas...
To continue the tradition of regular weekly posts with specific topics, I am going to follow Monday's #discussion posts, on Tuesdays, with #ideas. Some months ago, mine and my partner's family took stewardship of a one acre micro farm which we're working on transforming into a sustainable zero waste organic agricultural co-op. The property was used a florist for many years and had been left alone for a few now. The previous owners left A LOT of stuff around the property. Much of it is going to be useful for planting and growing. Some of it is certainly destined for the dump. However, as we're learning and engaging on more sustainable practices we would like to repurpose and upcycle as many of these things as we can. While we're all very creative and savvy in our own way and have many of our own ideas, we'd like to make this a group effort. After all, #EHO is adopting a p2p business model and advocating voluntary community efforts.
Each week I'm going to post pics of items and projects we have going on around the farm and tagging the post with #ideas. Some of it for the sake of sharing our ideas with you, and sometimes we're going to be asking you to share your ideas with us. If we really like your idea and decide to use it we will give you a vote, comment and resteem. We'll also tag you in the follow up post to show how we went about implementing or creating your idea and you will get credit on our website; as well, we'll place a QR code next to the item/project so that visitors and patrons can connect with you via steemit and help add value to our community.
Below are some of the first items we'd like to figure out what to do with.
Of course, we've already considered many ideas for these items already. And even if we don't use your idea we will still follow through and pick our favorite one each week. I am going to ask that you not only comment and upvote here (resteem if you wish), create a post of your own about the idea with pics, use the #idea tag and tag me somewhere in the post so we can keep track of the projects as they develop and share them with the rest of the steemit community. And I will be sure to upvote, comment and resteem if we really like it.

The first thing would make some great hanging gardens or perhaps a bird feeder. The material kinda reminds me of a nest. The water containers, other than well containing water could be used for a great way to make bio-ferments while safely storing seeds. Here's some notes I took on how that system works. It stacks functions by cleaning seed while making bio-ferments of your choosing.
Hope it's understandable. You'll need to seal your pipes in there somehow, but also figure out how to detach them to take out your seed or harvest that needs cleaning from pests and such.
