ICON launches Wallet - ICONex

ICON takes one step closer to "Hyperconnecting the World" today guys!

ICONex, the official ICON wallet, has released a Chrome Extension version and it is rather stunning!

(Think MetaMask with a cleaner theme. )
A mobile version supporting Android & iOS are coming soon.

ICONex supports Ethereum and ERC20 tokens. Currently, ICX is an ERC20 token running on the Ethereum blockchain. One of the main reasons for creating this wallet is the conversion of these ERC20 tokens to ICON's mainnet ICX token, which should be happening sometime in the next month (March 2018).

All ERC20 ICX tokens held in the ICONex wallet will be converted to mainnet ICX starting next month. Don't worry about missing out. The ICON team has allocated several months for token holders to get ERC20 tokens to the wallet before they are burned. ERC20 ICX will still work on exchanges and transactions until this process is finalized.
