Also, you can ignore the references to Deleuze and Guattari's A Thousand Plateaus. They don't even work. If one were to categorize ICON under a French critical theory, and I don't see why one would bother to, it would be the Structuralism of Claude Lévi-Strauss. A Thousand Plateaus is a fantastic book though. Recommended.
