How to use the winkPark app
• Register on the app. Set your username and password, then Login with the password.
• Enter your car registration number, its model and color so that other winkPark app users can easily recognize you.
• Several cars can be added to a single profile, however, ensure you set one of the cars as default.
• Go to ‘’My Profile’’ tab, add your avatar. 3 "lives" are given to you when you start using winkPark. These "lives" can be lost if a parking space is cancelled by you. Lost lives are revived after 24 hours.
How the winkPark works
Drivers can be de aware of available parking space in two ways. One is to click on the blue button on the screen of the main app; a pin will appear on the map marking your location. Depending on what you need, you can decide to move the pin or not. If the location displayed on the screen suits your need, then click the ‘’announce’’ button. By doing this, other drivers will become aware of an available parking space when they see a blue marker on the map.
Also, you can wait for another user of the app. All that is required for you to do is to include your position on the map by making use of the green button with the flag. Between the current time and your time of departure, set a time and wait for another driver to arrive. You can choose the marked parking space details using a dropdown list; if space is payable for electric cars, drivers with disabilities or large vehicles
After other drivers have marked available parking space, you can park quickly with their help.
