With the open and unlimited access of internet, it is hard to control the situation of document fraud. V-ID team has decided to stop this behavior by developing V-ID platform.

WHAT IS V-ID?

V-ID is a verification and validation service for entire digital documents based on blockchain technology. It is developed by WIDIDI, a software developer based in Zwijndrecht, Ridderkerk and London.

V-ID platform allows document owners submit their digital files to validation process then V-ID system will extract the data fingerprint and record it into blockchain with the timestamp. Only the fingerprint will be stored, V-ID platform does not save the content of documents. V-ID return the Origin Information Certificate (OIC) to the validated document’s owners, and it is considered as a proof of origin documents. The validation process is possible to occur in two ways, by employee of V-ID or document issuer. The validated documents can be published anywhere with the certification and the recipient has ability to verify these documents anytime through V-ID platform.

V-ID TOKEN

V-ID Token (VIDT) is issued as a utility token based on Ethereum platform (ERC-20 token). VIDT will be used as a means of payment for validation process. In addition, V-ID team has run the token sale to fundraising for V-ID project with the expectation of rapid development of V-ID.
