To change the world you need a little time

When we decided that we will do an ICO in February this year, we thought that we can do it in about 6 months. Turns out it generally is 12-18 months if you want to do this properly. And we do. You see, step one is the ICO, and that will set up the project, not just from a funding perspective, but also by creating liquidity of the token on exchanges post ICO.

Liquidity of the token
This is important for many reasons, but as a key part of the project we will be rewarding our members for entering data, we would like the price of PODS to climb significantly. AS you on Steemit write and get paid in Steem, and the higher that value the more you earn, the same will go for PODS. Of course we will bring advertising and various other revenue streams into the mix on Sportspodium, with that inflows of money also to a great extent, like daily emissions, being distributed to our members.

How do we get the early liquidity, you get big players to buy in to your concept, and show them those high multiples you can make. By showing them sustainability, they will want to buy low, at the 10-20c mark, and sell at the $3-$4 mark. This brings them in and creates a market liquidity and presence in investment groups and exchanges.

Marketing
Besides creating liquidity, we are shoring up our marketing team and efforts. While we have had a nice website, we have not been 100% happy with it. We are thus creating a brand new site, coming soon. We have been on National Radio in South Africa, and featured in the large daily newspapers business section in the last week, and also been on the international online news section of Africa's largest news business, Naspers.

While these are indeed exciting events, we are also about to break out into international news and will be bringing some amazing social media campaigns as well as Bitcointalk, Medium and Reddit campaigns, including some very nice bounty campaigns. Ambassadors
These are the cornerstone of building our online community, and we are about to finalise the first few to join post Natalie du Toit, who was our first ambassador, and will fulfil the role of Community Development Officer. She has amazing standing not just as a gold winning Olympian, but as a member of various Olympic and other sports committees around the world, and is also a Laureus Awards ambassador.

So be just a little more patient with this project, as we embark on what will be an amazing journey in the years to come.
