SIFT ICO: Crypto Chart Analysis Using Smart Volume Analysis

The Smart Investment Fund Token (SIFT) ICO opens on 1st August for 45 days accepting investment at the rate of 0.01 ETH per SIFT. The funds raised will be used to start a fund that trades cryptocurrency pairs using proprietary algorithms and profits will be repaid to investors by dividends and appreciation in the asset itself.

The algorithms that SIFT uses have been developed over a decade and are a proprietary form of volume analysis that we call Smart Volume Analysis. We’ll shortly be starting a live trading feed on MyFXBook to show investors how well our trading strategies work but in the interim one of our founders shared a few thoughts in our Telegram room recently.

Our algorithms do a number of things:

1. They tell us when a bar on a chart looks as though it is going to move in a certain direction (these are our signals – we have many of them)
2. They use artificial intelligence to check how accurate that particular signal is in the current marketplace – does it make sense or is there something more to the market right now?
3. They let us know what the percentage win rate is for any particular signal on that chart and the expected profit we’ll make from a trade
4. They suggest how we can exit a trade – be it from pricing levels, expected profit or an opposing trade
   In the example shown above we can see some of these aspects. Every bar that is coloured at the top indicates a bar with a signal whereas only those with a corresponding blue market at the bottom of the screen are those that our AI also felt appropriate based on current market conditions.

In the sequence above as the LTCUSD pair loses value on the H1 chart earlier this week our algorithms suggested investing at the point marked 1 with a sell order. At this point we enter a sell trade until an opposing trade is confirmed at the second point. This repeats again with another sell signal at point three closing with an opposing strength signal. In the course of a couple of days these trades took over 10%.
