Doug Polk, Who is he? Does he himself has a Ph.D. in Blockchain or Ph.D. in Cryptography or some professional experience in Security?? I have no idea. I have not done enough investigation about him. Neither I have time to do it...

Well, I should not say it with 100% certainty (as there could be extreme rare exception) that
every YouTuber spending effort, resources and time in making videos expect a return (both financial and non-financial benefits) in some form (directly or indirectly). If someone denies, he is un-doubtfully lying.
Human Beings can not be 100% un-bias. So, no YouTuber is 100% un-bias. Otherwise he/she is not human. Humans have feelings, emotions, likes, dislikes, habits, ethical values, and so on. Especially; ethical values, likes and dislikes differ from person to person, culture to culture, ... Only robots (if programmed correctly) may remain un-bias. So, YouTubers, on maximum can try to be as neutral and as un-bias as humanly possible (but they can NEVER EVER be 100% neutral and un-bias in their analysis all the times).
And yes, Transparency in most cease can be a good measure.
