MEMORITY: Decentralized Storage For Valuable Data On The Blockchain.

in #ico6 years ago

Several computer users and organisations suffer from low storage memory which has pushed them into alternative storage options like external hard drives which is easily corrupted. Due to the soft copy storage of some valuable data in some organisation, it has become really easy to edit, modify and manipulate some sensitive documents. This has been a challenge in electronic data storage as manual paper documentation cannot be altered without leaving a trace or sign of dent. However, with electronic storage, access to the file becomes something you only do when you are with the computer where the file is stored. It becomes a challenge when the file usage is required and the system is out of reach. Which this difficulties a decentralised cloud storage of valuable data on blockchain is created.

About Memority.
Memority is a blockchain-based platform for encrypted decentralized cloud storage of valuable data. The system automatically stores files of ten copies on independent storages all over the world every seconds. These files are encrypted with a private key obtained only by it owner while account is created. In this system users cannot see the data without first decrypting it with this key.

BENEFITS OF THE PLATFORM.

  • The mechanism of network incentives is aimed at connecting as many computers as possible to maximize the number of independent informations.

  • It continuously secures and restores multiple copies of each file using a decentralized monitoring system to provide reliable protection from data loss.

  • It storage system is a collection of independent data's from around the world, among which are specialized hosting providers and computers of ordinary users.

  • The system stores several data copies (10 by default) on unrelated storages.

  • The platform operation is based on payments for storage with its own native cryptocurrency tokens (MMR), the transaction history of which is kept by the participants of the blockchain system. The functioning of tokens system occurs independently of any centralized financial systems.

CONCLUSION
Data storage cannot be more secure with a decentralised system where files are encrypted and only available for the original owner. This would however solve the issue of virus attack on electronic documentation and also put an end to the lack of accessibility of files when the storage device is out of reach.
