EQUI - Bridging Crypto with VC
What it is Equi? They're looking to disrupt the venture capitalist market which is predominantly only available to those that are super rich and certain entities there normally are outside of our reach, that's for sure. Equi is going to be a platform where you can actually invest into projects on that platform but more importantly the two people behind this. You've got Doug Barrowman that has experience and if you go through what Doug's done previously you’ll see that he knows what he's doing and has been doing it for the last thirty years. The same goes for Baroness Mone Of Mayfair who's an OBE. She's also worked on very large projects and made her own Empire itself. So, you've got two very strong players in this that already know the venture capitalist business. They already know how it developed their own enterprises as well as see and realize the potential in other people's. So, this is an important one from that point of view of being able to see the potential in their enterprise. It’s already doing a lot the screening, looking for the right ventures for investing in and obviously it's going to be in their own token which is their EQUI token. It's built on the ethereum network and they’re predominately going to be based on the crypto in tech enterprises. So, that’s there going to be their main business focus on picking out new tech and new crypto orientated enterprises. The other thing with this is profit wise seventy-five percent of all the profits will be returned to the investors in EQUI.
There's two types of investments in there, 70% of that will go directly to those that invest in the projects on the Equi platform for example I assume they will have a list of projects they're working on and you can invest in each one. So, 70% of the profits generated on the Equi platform will go to those people. The other 5% will go to people that simply hold the tokens but don't actually invest them in anything. They're just holding them on the platform and obviously you've got more than one way to use the EQUI token to generate a revenue or income. First one is you can trade it like other crypto. Next one is to hold it and gain the rewards on the payouts because one of the things you’re going to have over time is obviously the stake of Equi in these new ventures is going to be constant. So, the point being is you are going to be part of that. As the portfolio grows the value of the tokens will follow that same pattern. It's going to grow over time and this is why when you look at how much looking to invest is because they're looking at larger projects but if you look at what the people behind it have done they are used to working on large projects. Third one is you can invest in projects directly. If you own the tokens invest in the projects you've got multiple ways of generating an income off this.
The roadmap, ongoing development whitepaper preparation, ico team formation, terms of collisions that was September last year. October dealing with the regulatory and compliance set up which is an important one because obviously with the ICO issues around being compliant if you're looking at doing this into an investment platform through what would be a traditional venture capitalism as I suppose. You need to make sure everything’s above board in legal. I have notice something that is a little bit peculiar for an ICO. They've actually done most of the work already because obviously the people behind this they already off on business so they're not looking at hanging around and spending the money on cheap thrills. They're looking at spending it on the enterprise. So, they've already invested time and money in this already themselves. I would suggest you take a serious look at and as I mentioned the guys behind it take a look at as well because you'll actually understand why they can do this really well and why they've already proven themselves in previous projects they worked on and made their own businesses.
