Update on several Early August ICOs (Monkey Capital, Filecoin, Coss.io, Po.et and Salt Lending)

Below a quick summary / update of this week ICOs, the ones I am planning to invest in:

Monkey Capital

Slack channel is going crazy with all Monkey Capital changes. Only yesterday they released an updated white paper, and today during a conference call, the CEO Daniel M Harrison introduced significant changes and announced that there will be no ICO as they raised capital OTC. A lot of questions unanswered and people that have been faithful on this project and have even written posts to promote it, are having serious doubts. I have an investment there, so I share most of the concerns. I will ride along since I knew from the beginning this was a very risky investment (but also with a lot of upside). We'll see.

Exchange Union

On a surprising move, they have decided to cancel their ICO, since they just raised privately the amount of funds they required for implementation. They had a great team including their advisors, so it is a pity that ordinary people, like me, can't get in. I wish the project is successful though.

FileCoin

ICO was scheduled for today but it has been postponed only three days. It will start on August 10 and only for accredited investors. The reason is because they decided to make some last minute changes (such as keeping the price the same for all people investing during the first hour) which raised a lot of questions. Good move in my opinion.

Coss.io

Token sale going out tomorrow as planned (in about 12 hours from the time this post is being published). What I like about it is that they have already a working platform (no alpha, no beta) with a lot of upside and growth potential. Unsure about the cap though. But worth investing a little at least.

Po.et

This token sale is also being held tomorrow. Really looking forward to this one. Good project, great team and backers.

Salt Lending

They will announce on Wednesday, August 9th, the details of SALT's Community Membership sale, which would include discounted memberships. And they will release the SALT Abstract on the same date, which will contain an in-depth explanation of SALT’s platform including its architecture, technology, and use cases; how Blockchain-Backed Loans work; and details on the mechanics of SALT’s Community Membership Sale.
