The emergent need for energy has led to the generation of energy from diverse natural resources. Majority of these sources have proven to be malign to the atmosphere, the environment and tend to have significant effects on human health. The need for an eco-friendly source of energy has led to consideration of renewable energy sources such as wind, biomass and sunlight. The use of biomass waste to synthesize renewable energy is still in its infancy.
