The Team Matters: SyncFab's Case

in #ico6 years ago

At the heart of any successful project is the team. No matter how good or innovative an idea is, if the team behind it isn’t dedicated to the cause or isn’t qualified for the task at hand, the project is headed for a bleak end. SyncFab’s team is a multi-cultural bunch ready to bring a revolutionary supply chain platform to the world.

First, a Look at the Advisors

SyncFab has collected a remarkable group of advisors who have been immersed in advanced technological products for decades.

  • Michael Jones has been the CEO of Userplane, SVP at AOL, CEO at Tsavo Media, CEO at MySpace, and is presently the CEO of Science, a VC & PE firm. He’s been an early investor in many prominent start-ups, and he is the board member of major companies, like Dollar Shave Club, that have penetrated highly competitive markets.
  • Gil Penchina has been a GM at eBay and the CEO of Wikia.com. He is presently a partner at Ridge Ventures and has invested in many powerful start-ups like LinkedIn, Paypal, Indiegogo, and more. With his time at eBay and supporting start-ups, Gil Penchina has acquired just the proper set of skills and experience to advise SyncFab with all its challenges.

Michael Jones and Jil Penchina are SyncFab’s flagship advisors and the two combined already have enough experience with supply chain and start-up development to ensure SyncFab has the knowledge and expertise it needs from seasoned entrepreneurs and investors. But SyncFab actually 8 more advisors seasoned in a foray of industries and skills that involve everything from security to transaction, and this would ensure SyncFab has a swift growth.

The Team

SyncFab has a big team so I am only going to go over its chief officers.

The company’s CEO, Jeremy Goodwin, has spent a large amount of time in China and that’s why he has such a strong grasp of the procurement process. He interacted with many companies there and understood the difficulties manufacturers face and the thought process behind their decisions. He utilized that understanding to become the founding CEO of SyncFab from year 2013. Moreover, he has years of experience in financial institutions and that ensures he has skill to properly execute the utilization of funds gathered during the ICO.

The company’s CSO, Andy Le Tong, is president of IVP Investment Group. Mr. Tong has in-depth experience as a hands-on angel investor that has helped the development of many emerging start-ups. He is also an executive at several other firms that he has either invested in or founded. He has been a part of SyncFab for nearly 5 years as co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer.

SyncFab’s CTO, Jay Ligda, has founded and ran several technological companies for over 2 years. He was recruited as SyncFab’s CTO 5 months after the company was founded. An ambitious start-up with global goals needs a CTO who has the perseverance acquired over many years of experience in developing a company from scratch.

SyncFab’s CDO, Dennis Delgado, has been in the art and design industry for over 10 years. He graduated from Tuck School and that means this art-focused mind has plenty of business acumen. He has been a gallery director and has curated many art shows which have included works from prominent artists. He joined SyncFab in 2013 as a creative director and 2 years later became the company’s Chief Design Officer. He has plenty of experience to offer buyers and manufacturers a welcoming UI. His role will be of essential importance as, in this world of convenience, people demand any tool to be easy to use.

Clearly, SyncFab’s team is committed to the product as they have been a part of the company since its founding, which was nearly 5 years ago. The company’s chief officers have hefty experience in their roles and SyncFab’s advisors seamlessly assists the founding team fill in any gaps.
