einc - For Better Organisation

in #ico8 years ago

The distributed architecture for organisation of an enterprise's data and communication has been gaining a lot of popularity over the past few years since it has been proved to be a much better suited structure for handling large volumes of data with better efficiency and scalability. All new companies that emerge always choose to establish a distributed system structure. Even already existing companies are pivoting towards a more distributed working environment. The traditional distributed systems offer several advantages, like improving performance through parallelism, sharing of resources efficiently, better scalability, and no single point of failure or attack like in the centralised systems, providing more security. Most importantly, this kind of architecture allows several groups of people across the globe to work on the same project without having to be in the same room.

"Distributed programming is the art of solving the same problem that you can solve on a single computer using multiple computers."

- Mikito Takada, Distributed Systems for Fun and Profit

Sadly, there are some downsides to this architecture. Although originally intended to be completely distributed with no single point as the central coordinating system, many start-ups have failed to adapt a completely decentralised architecture using traditional methods and either end up involuntarily adapting a semi-centralised architecture or just fail. This is because there are a lot of issues that need to considered, like coordinating access of resources without any clashes, monitoring nodes and management of the company's finances, which are all very expensive tasks. Start-ups face lack the sufficient funding to sustain themselves for even the first few months because of these expenses. Consequently, these start-up businesses are overwhelmed by this complexity and become unable to attain the success that they wished for. This has a big impact on the overall development of the all global industries because potentially useful products are not released because of poor system architecture.

Fortunately, recent years have seen the tremendous growth of blockchain technology, which allows a decentralised environment in a much less complicated way. The technology provides an abstraction to make distributed management a lot simpler. Many blockchains have started adapting this technology but they have failed to harness the full potential of it. So now, eInc has developed a protocol that aims to bring this technology's full power to those aspiring start-ups who wish to make their contributions to technology and lead them to success.

The EtherInc Protocol

The EtherInc protocol (eInc for short), is an alternative protocol aimed to enable start-ups to run decentralised organisations and develop dApps by providing them with an abstract foundational layer that they can use without much ramification. This layer is basically "a Blockchain with a built-in Turing-complete programming language".

Using this protocol, any person can implement smart contracts and decentralised applications with their own customised rules for transactions and ownership. The blockchain technology provides a sense of transparency, efficiency and security. The protocol gives focus to faster development time, security of small and rarely used applications and efficient communication between different applications. As a result, start-ups have the access to a much better decentralised architecture and have the opportunity to succeed in their venture since the burden of organisation is drastically reduced. The biggest advantage of this protocol is that it is affordable and thus, it solves the biggest cause of failure of start-ups, which is insufficient funding.

The new era for Start-ups

The eInc organisation has 4 main features it wishes to provide: decentralised, borderless, permissionless and democratized architecture. It has given a new ray of hope to start-up companies and it encourages teams around the world to create, manage and conduct decentralised democratic organisations that are stronger and more reliable. It reduces the cost of operation as well. In short, it is the best thing that could happen to the field of technology, if executed properly.
