When we look at this two key words which is information technology what can we try to read out. Let's start from the first world which is information, information is just the collection of data. Data is a given description of a particular entity. When it comes to data many people are interested because the whole world runs on information gotten from different sources. For every data that is been processed and fully utilized there is always a finished product meaning that the more genuine your data is, the more reliable your final product will be. The next question that one might ask when it comes to data is about how does the information get from the initiator down to the final consumers. There has been several methods information has been passed even from generation to generation, when we look at how man developed his act of carrying information from simple talking or what we call oral means to transferring information to caving down to painting you would have noticed that has man evolved he also looked for better means of transferring information so that those at the other end will be able to get the right information about a particular event or thing. This has lead to various evolution to the point where we now come to the era of computers and digital devices that can process large amount of information at the shortest period of time with large accuracy and with massive storage capacity.
When we look at the world technology it just simple means that how far science has gone to improve the way activities are been done. This involve all devices used in our present world to simplify any man made activities. Technology has we know as evolved has man evolved because man have always been looking for ways of doing things with speed and more accuracy at the possible shortest period of time. This as now resulted to some of the most ground innovation at this are present generation has seen which is the Internet and many others which are already in existence and still many to come. Technology has gone to a new level with the creation of blockchain which was primarily set up to disrupt the financial sector and many other institutions.
When we now put this two words together we get a whole meaning which simple means the various devices such as computers, phones, television and etc including software that has been created with the aim of creating, providing, storage, processing of information no matter how large the data is. From all perception, this devices and software are located in virtually every devices that is been used in our present period of time. Most of the time when people hear of information technology what they think or what first comes to their mind is our present day computers. Even though computers form the largest bulk of the hardware that makes up information technology (IT), it isn't the only one because all devices capable of receiving and processing information is also an IT meaning our various phones fall into the category, our GPS devices in our cars and many other fall into this category. Since these various devices always have a point where their storage either gets full or the owner of this devices either won't to get another one or what to get a better version will look for a way of disposing such devices or information in a manner that won't be beneficial to him or to someone else that will either need the device or the information stored in it. This has caused some platforms to be step up to enable people to be able to trade both IT devices, software or its network with potential buyers but still the whole process has been very ineffective.
