THE VOLT PLATFORM FOR USERS/CUSTOMERS
This platform offers transparency to customers by displaying all the fees and expenses charged. If you have items to send, you can simply open the app and select the start and end delivery destinations. After listing the item and size of the item, you will be able to view the price and the estimated delivery time. Once submitted, the order is shared via Blockchain and it then connects to the messenger with the corresponding
smart contract. The order is confirmed once the messenger accepts. The buyer then receives the information regarding the messenger and is even be able to track the messenger in real-time through the VOLT app.
THE VOLT PLATFORM FOR MESSENGERS
The messenger can set various fields including area, price, available time of preference that uploads to the smart contract. This enables efficient matching between the customer and the messenger through preference and availability. A great advantage to the messenger is that one can work within their preferred area, and be able to collect a pool of customers within that area. In addition to this, the messenger is able to receive a higher income as the intermediary commission is reduced. This can be a consistent income for the retired or elderly, as an example. Messengers will be able to choose their own delivery radius, meaning they can use cheaper means of transportation, such as the subway, a bicycle, or simply by walking.
VOLT also produces a highly transparent and safe escrow facility for all concerned, therefore it offers a refund guarantee for its customers and safe funds transfer for messengers. In this system, the customers transfer money to smart contracts that process funds to the messengers only if the product is delivered successfully and confirmed with the use of an independent oracle through Blockchain.
The development of VOLT's blockchain delivery system will proceed in a sequential order. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be developed first to allow a peer-to-peer (P2P) communication between the customers and messengers. The implementation of ERC20-based cryptocurrency VOLT Coin will allow customers to request and order a delivery service with convenience. In addition to this, anyone could request to be a messenger, even without a vehicle, which will increase the overall economic activity.
