PentaFund is an actively managed absolute return crypto asset fund that employs a team of experienced asset managers. PentaFund will utilize sophisticated investment management techniques that may differ from traditional mutual funds or index funds. These techniques include fundamental and technical analysis, combined with short selling, arbitrage, leverage, and the use of derivatives. Since the Cryptocurrency market trades 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, investors can feel assured that the PentaFund will be protecting their investments at all times.

Fund Selection

The Fund’s portfolio will typically be fully invested in cryptocurrencies decided by PentaCore’s investment team and managers. The cryptocurrency selection approach of the investment manager focuses on coins/tokens demonstrating favorable valuations and/or market action. Pentacore analytical approach includes measurements of price behavior, fundamental value, trading volume and other tangible factors.

When market conditions are unfavorable in the view of the investment manager, the Fund may use derivatives, or effect short sales of certain cryptocurrencies to reduce the exposure of the Fund’s portfolio. The choice of indices and instruments used for hedging is based on a consideration of the cryptocurrencies held in the Fund. These hedges may include other cryptocurrencies, derivatives or traditional market assets like commodities, currencies, and equity indices.

Redemption Policy

PentaFund will reinvest all profits from the buying and sell coins/tokens, net of fees, back into PentaFund. Investors will be able to cash out of the PentaFund by utilizing PentaFund’s quarterly redemption program or by selling their PentaCore tokens in the secondary market. Through PentaCore redemption program, PentaFund will be the only tokenized crypto fund that will allow investors to redeem their tokens, without penalty, directly from the issuer through a smart contract on a quarterly basis. PentaFund will allow up to 10% of all tokens to be redeemed each quarter, with the price being determined by the prevailing Net Asset Value (NAV). All PENT Tokens redeemed with PentaFund will be burned and eliminated from the calculation for "Price of PENT.

Net Asset Value

The PentaFund will publish a periodic Net Asset Value (NAV) of the holdings on our website and also viewable through the PentaView Dashboard. This will give token holders guidance as to what the intrinsic value of the underlying assets of the fund are. This will allow investors to make a more educated decision when buying or selling the PentaCore token.

Additional Offerings

PentaFund will host additional token sales at later dates in the future with the price determined by the Net Asset Value at the time of issuance. This structure will allow new investors to enter into the fund without negatively impacting the price of PENT for other token holders. As PentaFund continues to grow in size and popularity, this should also lead to more liquidity on the secondary market for token holders.
