Terawatt: Light Up Your World

Electricity, as we know it plays a major role in our life and the impact that it puts in our life is beyond explanation.

Let me speak one of my personal experiences and how I knew electricity when I was a kid. Well, it was in 90s and I lived in a place called "Gaya" which was in Bihar. As unbelievable as it might sound but it totally is true how we used to starve for electricity just like one would starve for water while walking in the lonesome deserts of Rajasthan. I was very small to remember all of it but my mother still tells me the stories and all I wonder is: what if it was the condition right now in the place I am living today? Well, all thanks to technology that they didn't keep us deprived of anything. We have "invertors" now which automatically detects that electricity is gone and comes to the rescue to offer the replacement. But, in 90s, there was no word as "invertor."

Life was hard early back then. However, there are a few things that don't change. If I recall correctly, early during that time, all I knew was about Tube lights and today, there are very less places that have tube lights because we mostly own up to LED as they are known to save electricity. Well, look at the irony, today we use LED to save electricity and earlier in the 90s, there was no need of saving a penny for electricity because we lived 24 hours without a light and a fan. It really sends me down the memory lane.

Well, coming to the discussion, there has been significant growth in everything and in the present time, we are not deprived of any luxury. One such initiative for the future is brought down by Terawatt that aims to provide LED adoption by creating DAO -- Decentralized Autonomous Organization.

The aim that the platform has to accomplish is drag down the consumption of lightening all over the world by roughly 50% by the year 2035. Terawatt will take care of other renewable sources of energy that includes Solar and Wind energy.

It will create DAO and along with that a private option for making payments. There will be a private currency for the same. The DAO will be properly funded. The platform will also look forward to offer rewards to the people who are making an LED purchase. So, now, if you buy an LED for your home or your office, there are bunch of incentives coming along with that too. All the records will be properly noted in the storage system.

The main aim of Terawatt is to wipe off all the other means of light bulbs that do nothing but contribute immensely in increasing the amount of green house gases in the environment. This helps with nothing but contributing to the change in climatic conditions and increasing the electricity bills for the people.

Conclusion

Terawatt is a very mature and good decision that has been taken up to take care of the unnecessary expenses we end to pay for the electricity bills. This is not right and with LED bulbs there is a huge chance for us to save some money that we pay for these bills. It is very important to take down the green house gases as all that they end up doing is contributing to something that we don't really need right now. So, terawatt, according to me is worth the time and I am looking for the adventures it has to offer in the coming time.
