Why Creator.ai?
We plan to use analytics, AI and machine learning, and the blockchain
to solve the biggest problems in the influencer marketing space. Our
team from Captiv8.io has decades of combined experience in the
industry and has run campaigns for some of the world’s largest
brands. We intend to leverage this knowledge and experience to
disrupt the $300 billion content industry with Creator.ai, the world’s
first decentralized content creation protocol. Creator.ai is a wholly
owned subsidy of Captiv8. Captiv8’s DApp is the first to utilize the
Creator.ai protocol.
The average person gets exposed to 577 marketing messages each
day, and a recent survey by Accenture found that more than 80% of
consumers either ignore traditional ads online or have them
completely blocked.
But when it comes to content, the same survey shows that 70% of
participants were open to viewing new content, particularly when it’s
tailored to their lifestyle and interests9. This demonstrates that
consumers are filtering out everything but
the most compelling and targeted messages,
making influencer marketing a crucial part of almost any brand or
company’s overall marketing strategy.
Unfortunately, navigating the current influencer marketing ecosystem
is time-consuming and off-putting for marketers due to the need
to set up accounts on multiple platforms and go through several
layers of middlemen before reaching influencers who are a good
fit for their brand. There are also no processes that allow for
marketers to engage with content creators in a straightforward
and transparent way. Instead, marketers sometimes feel that the only
way to make a connection is by brute-force messaging creators, which
typically fails to capture their attention.

The adoption of blockchain technology will solve these challenges
between influencers, brands, and marketers with the use of a
decentralized smart contract protocol. The protocol will allow for
transparency between all parties and increased visibility for
creators who are looking to monetize their content. The blockchain
will also help facilitate payments, which will be immediate, secure,
and scalable across borders with the use of tokens instead of
restrictive fiat.
Our goal is to allow content creators to live their passions and
monetize them, while providing marketers with the ability to tap
into these highly targeted audiences and maximize their brand’s
marketing efforts like never before.

Heard it before? Here's how we are different. Data is in our DNA. Our data scientists drink from API firehoses of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter to create training models and give you instant analysis. No other influencer marketing platform will give you the actionable insights that we do (and with confidence)

And we aren't just talking about any data - we are talking about personality archetypes, brand affinity and over 30 other data points that predict content virality. We are also endorsed by super smart mathematicians like Stephen Wolfram, big talent agencies like UTA, and big brands like Honda and Dr. Pepper.

Influencer Marketing
Overview
Interest in influencer marketing has increased by more than 90x since
2013 and is currently dominating the online marketing landscape.
Many brands have found that influencer marketing is more effective
than traditional forms of digital advertising and marketing,
particularly because internet users have become more savvy over the
years. One indication of this is that 70% of millennials are now using
ad blockers when browsing social media and the web2
, making it
harder than ever for marketers to reach the right audience for their
products and services. These trends fall in line with the increasing
distrust consumers feel toward digital advertising, which includes
banner ads and affiliate marketing.
Despite this, many marketers are still focused on traditional digital
marketing efforts, and those who foray into influencer marketing
usually only look for macro-influencers (100,000+ followers) to
promote their brands. This is because many marketers just want to
reach as large of an audience as possible, but also because of how
difficult it can be to track down niche influencers in their space, create
numerous small-scale campaigns, and pay numerous content creators
through a variety of third party platforms.
But despite the difficulty of finding the right micro-influencers to
work with, it’s clear that these campaigns are incredibly effective,
particularly because micro-influencers tend to maintain more
intimate relationships with their followers3
and post more regularly4
than macro-influencers. These niche content creators offer marketers
a chance to reach incredibly targeted audiences and tap into
relationships that have a higher sense of authenticity and
truthfulness, similar to word-of-mouth recommendations from
family, friends, and peers on social media5.

In fact, 92% of people say they trust recommendations made by
individuals, even people they don’t know, over brands6. Additionally, a
study conducted by The Keller Fay Group and Experticity suggests that
82% of consumers would be willing to listen
to the recommendations of micro-influencers.
These smaller audiences tend to be more tailored to specific niches and
value systems, which is something millennials consider to be increasingly
important in their digital lives. In a recent study, 85% of millennials said
they are more likely to purchase if the product is personalized to their
interests.
Unfortunately, the current landscape has made it difficult for
marketers to communicate directly with these niche influencers. This
is due to the many layers of platforms and middlemen that have to be
worked through in order to find and do business with content creators,
making targeted influencer marketing campaigns too cumbersome and
expensive for most brands to pursue.
However, with 211 million pieces of content being created every
minute across channels like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and
Twitter, it’s more crucial than ever for marketers to be able to connect
with the right creators, who have highly targeted audiences and can
provide real value for the marketer’s spend.
Creator.ai plans to transform how marketers and influencers connect
and do business by facilitating faster, more transparent, and more
effective transactions on the blockchain, allowing marketers to tap into
more focused audiences and at a larger scale than ever before.
