What is Iagon and What is their Team Building?

Iagon is the newest platform looking to improve Big Data and disrupt the Cloud Storage industry. The Iagon team is building a Global Supercomputer ecosystem, which will be powered entirely by Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. This will allow the files and tasks stored in the cloud to be distributed. This technology will allow all smart devices to be connected by Artificial Intelligence and the users will be able to benefit from a plethora of integrated Dapps.

Since we have gotten a quick overview at what Iagon is looking to build, now it's time to look at the team behind the platform!

The Team

After looking through many different organizations and the teams behind them, Iagon definitely has a leg up against their competitors. They have built partnerships through some of the employees and the different organizations they are/were affiliated with (i.e. Winjit & Oracle).

One of their team members who I want to bring to your attention is Dr. Claudio Lima.

Dr. Lima is the current acting Chief Technology Officer for Iagon. The reason I have found him the most interesting is because he is a seasoned executive with a ton of experience with not only Blockchain, but also AI. He is working as an advisor for a few other companies, which really shows how much people respect his opinion and what he can bring to an organization. In addition to this, he was also the CTO of Huawei Technologies- responsible for Smart Grid/Utility/Energy.

I still hadn't even brought up their CEO & Founder, Navjit Dhaliwal! He has a lot of history in leading different organizations, and actually founded two different ones in the past (Mjøsa Tannklinikk, a founding partner of CanPol AS, as well as Arbo Lab AS). His previous experience at these different organizations and helping to lead them to success will definitely give him an advantage to build Iagon.

Decentralized Storage Platform

Iagon has different sections to the way their platform functions. I will break down each part of their protocol to make it much easier for you to understand!

The three sections of their platform are:

1. The Machine Learning Algorithm
2. The Blockchain and the Miners
3. Encryption/Decryption Protocol

Machine Learning Algorithm

When someone sends a request over to Iagon, the machine learning algorithm sends blocks to the miners to find matching signatures. This process validates the node, and actually gives the users a solid level of anonymity as well as privacy for those who are using Iagon's platform.

The Blockchain and the Miners

The hashing algorithm that is implemented is SHA256, and with each hash "hashing" each block, these blocks create a chain (known as blockchain!). This process gives miners incentive to mine these blocks and validate them because they will be rewarded with the IAG token. Speaking as simple as possible- the more data that is processed through mining, the more you are rewarded with IAG tokens.

Encryption/Decryption Protocol

This protocol that is implemented will make the storage of different data not only extremely secure, but will allow for users to seamlessly utilize their services. They will be able to integrate "SQL, NoSQL, Big Data databases, private blockchain, hyper-ledger, or any public Blockchain or decentralized network".

Iagon and Their Competition

When I first came across Iagon, one of the things I needed to know was what makes this organization better than their competition? I did a research paper on distributed data storage earlier this year for a class at my university, so I was extremely curious about this. There are a few different distributed cloud storage organizations already in the crypto-sphere, so what exactly makes Iagon better?

A few different qualities about Iagon that will be implemented that hasn't been done compared to its competition is using AI to manage the grid, Continuous optimization of the grid, multiple platform support, as well as the Tangle platform. As a previous investor in Storj, I knew that something bigger and better was going to come around. It's no surprise that the revenue stream of Iagon is going to be somewhat similar to Storj's, but the technology and platform behind Iagon will almost make Storj irrelevant!

The Token

The Iagon ecosystem is built around their IAG token. What makes their token extremely unique is how it utilizes multiple technologies. Most tokens that are traded are using either blockchain technology or tangle. This is what makes Iagon different- in addition to using the token on the Ethereum Blockchain, it will also implement the Tangle platform. Most people first learned about Tangle through the IOTA token, which is one of the first well known tokens to use this technology. Tangle is based off an application called directed acyclic graph (DAG). The Tangle platform solves some of the issues we have found with blockchain such as scalability issues on the blockchain.

There will be a total of 1B IAG tokens created, having 700M of them available for sale during their ICO. The rest will be for the team, development, and advisors/bounty hunters.
