What is UTRUST? 

In Short: It is a PayPal with cryptocurrency.

In detail: With UTRUST you can: 

1. Use any major cryptocurrency to pay merchant sites with low conversion fee or no fee at all if you use UTRUST Token. 
2. It takes advantage of speed and safety of crypto payments. 
3. Protection from scam, fast transaction and consumer protection (no stolen card details, chargebacks or hacked accounts)

Problem:  

1. No digital payment system between buyers and sellers for products and services.
2. Buyers expect consumer protection 
3. And Sellers are afraid of the volatility issues concerned with accepting cryptocurrencies. 

Solution: With UTRUST:   

1. Buyers can use their favourite cryptocurrency to buy goods and services from merchants with robust consumer protection. 
2. Sellers receive fiat currency directly from cryptocurrency buyers, shielding the Sellers from cryptocurrency market volatility and decreasing the risk of accepting cryptocurrency. 

UTRUST Payment Platform

Buyer Protection:  The amount paid by the buyer is held until the transaction has been validated the platform mediator. UTRUST handles conflict resolution and reduces risk for the consumer. Consumer gets a refund in case there is a problem with the purchase. 

Fluctuation Protection:  The conversion from fiat to crypto in done in just-in-time(JIT)  at the best market value and added to the pool. By locking in this amount and assuring the hold after conversion, they ensure the seller gets the specific amount unconstrained from crypto volatility 

Low fees:  1% of the transaction amount for sellers. They claim to give the lowest possible exchange fees with smart analytics and multiple exchange providers

The buyer will be shown the description of the total amount to be paid including a 1% commission and exchange fees from the crypt amount to fiat currency. The description is transparent and updated every 2minutes.  
If this is a trusted merchant with a high-performance rating, the funds will be release immediately. If the merchant is a new comer the funds will be held serval days before it is released. As the merchant establishes a track record of successful transactions, his performance rating will increase and decrease the holding period.  

Buyer decides to open a dispute 

Token:  Each time a buyer pays with any cryptocurrency via the UTRUST payment a percentage of the transaction fee will be used to buy back the UTRUST tokens and remove them from the market.  The removed tokens will be burned, thus reducing the amount of UTRUST token supply increasing the value of the UTRUST tokens.

 
Comparison UTRUST vs PayPal vs Bitpay: 

ICO: The next ICO is on 2nd November 2017, 2pm GMT. It will run for 7days or until all the tokens are burned. The unit price per token is $0.065.

Concerns:  

1. They don’t have an MVP yet, they plan to release it 2018
2. The technical implementation is missing from their Whitepaper

Partnership:  On October 4th, UTRUST announced partnership with SOMA, a Helsinki based company. SOMA is an Ethereum Blockchain-based social marketplace.  

My Thoughts:  Currently there is no other platform like this which gives high value to UTRUST. If this gets mass adoption like Paypal the token burning will be fast and will ensure the price appreciation.
