RepuX ICO - SWOT Analysis and ICO Details

I have introduced the RepuX project, highlighted its solutions to the existing problems of acquisition of valuable and authentic data and also given my assessments on the reasons why I believe this to be a good project and why I will be investing.

However for the final part of the RepuX series, I will be performing a SWOT analysis to identify its internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as its external opportunities and threats.

SWOT Analysis

Strengths

Working product: Repux have gone ahead and developed a well working prototype of the marketplace which means the projects is not like most ICOs for different blockchain projects that are  just Whitepaper projects and still need considerable funds for development of their product. 

Already made partnership with pilot companies: Repux has also partnered with 3 pilot companies which has connections with millions of SMEs in china, with this it won't be a long time before more expansion is made. 

Solving a real problem: Per the Harvard Business Review, individually, most SMEs don’t have enough data or expertise to take advantage of AI. A marketplace like Repux helps them better compete with the big boys.

Weaknesses

Time before Mass Adoption: it may take a considerable amount of time before Repux gets mass adopted, why? because we are still in the early years of the blockchain technology and there is still a lot of skepticism about what is legal, what is not, regulations and a lot. so the general public are still siting on the fence so i believe for as long as the blockchain is taking its time, crypto projects also have to take theirs which may give way for late competitors to get into the market.

Opportunities

High market potentials: from the website - According to the World Economic Forum, SMEs represent over 95% of firms, account for 70% of employment and contribute 53% of GDP globally. What does this say? with millions of SMEs all over the whole generating and processing high volume data daily, if RepuX can get mass adopted by this SMEs the opportunities for the availability of almost any type of data is endless. Meaning billions of dollars to be exchanged in the RepuX marketplace, which will lead to increase in demand for RepuX tokens and a subsequent increase in its value.

Threats

Competitors: The greatest form of threat the Repux ecosystem faces comes in form of its competitors. competition is good for business as it will cause teams and organizations to do their very best to stand out, but in a market like the blockchain market where it is very easy to raise funds for almost any business startup or project. Competition is a threat that the RepuX team will just have to deal with and hopefully, it will drive them to deliver better.
