This is the happiest Finns can get
I'm now finally back at home from my trip with a massive amounts of photos from Norway to sort and edit, but I'm having a bit of a post-trip low-key feeling right now. I've experienced it earlier already though and I know it'll pass. But hey, it is a sign of a good trip at least.
It wasn't all about Norway though, because making our pitstop in Finland, Iisalmi, we got to experience Finland's third world Championship in ice hockey, in a cozy pub where we went because we didn't have a television available in the house we were lodging in.
There's not many things that unite Finns as much as ice hockey does, so much that it makes cold hard Finnish men hug each others – and that is a rare sight I can tell you that much. Here's a rare glimpse into the joy Finns, somewhere deep in their souls beyond the stone cold surface, are capable of experiencing.

Haha, yes! There's still some action going on in Helsinki's square in the celebration of it all.
Truly uplifting looking at them. I just doublechecked … yep … still satisfying.
That's funny. :D I was just at that moment somehow in a pub(I don't usually go to this sort of places) in Tallinn when Finland won and the Finnish guys started screaming loudly while watching the game :D
Haha, you're damn right that Finns will make themselves apparent when the ice hockey championship is on the line :D
Bet they went to the Finnish bars like Helsinki in the Old Town later for karaoke
And to sing all the Finnish hockey remixes :D
