I was following this project since its inception, as it came out roughly the same time as Steemit. I put some $$s into their ICO, and I can say its the only real stinker i've invested in.
It had a good vision, but terrible execution. After many pivots, the writing was on the wall for all who cared to look. Steemit may not be perfect, but it is resilient, and at least slowly improves!
