Anyone in HYIP programs? Learn the basics what to do what not to do before you join anything and lose all your BTC.

So if you followed me for a bit you know I love stocks, futures, options, cryptos and adrenaline sports.

While I'm trading on poloniex the cryptos and doing great at it I might add, the adrenaline junkie in me loves to play with fire so I ventured out into the HYIP programs with some of winnings. If you are not familiar with these HYIP programs, they are basically high risk high reward, put some bitcoin in and get some crazy interest rates daily in return. The trick like all things in life is getting in early and getting out while it's still on the rise.

Now before you bash me for touting these HYIP programs, please understand I look at everything in life as risk vs. reward. I would never suggest anyone put anything into anything they didn't expect to see go to Zero when it comes to these HYIP programs. I also look at everything with risk as how to diversify the risk. Most people do not know that you can win 30-40% on trades in the stock market and make a fortune, that means you lose 60-70% of your trades. The trick is to manage risk and cut your losers early....which most people can not and will instead cut their winners and add to their losers.....which in case you haven't figured that out yet....is BAD. Baseball players that hit 350 over their careers are in the hall of fame, meaning they got out 650 out of 1000 at bats.

So with that being said I look at HYIP programs as just another diversification for the adrenaline junkie in me for a portion of my play money. If you're just getting your feet wet with these programs here is my advice, having made money in these and lost some along the way.

1. Make sure they are paying number one, check out the internet boards, understand the minimum to invest, minimum to withdraw, etc. That means if the min to reinvest is .02 and you put in .005 you're going to get burned and lose your money before you have enough btc to even take advantage of the program. You must put in at least enough that you can reinvest daily or every 4 hours. That works out on a 6% interest rate per day with a .02 btc reinvestment to be that you must deposit at least .35 btc or else you will have to wait more than a day to reinvest and compound.
2. Understand when you can reinvest if compounding is offered, meaning will it take you 1 day 2 days or 10 days to have enough to compound? Back to step 1. know going in what it will take to get your money back and have an exit plan.
3. Understand none of these programs last more than 1 to 3 months so if you're just getting involved late in the cycle and you're putting very little BTC in there you're going to lose money. Wait for the next HYIP to come along and jump on early after you confirm it is paying as mentioned in Step 1.
4. You have to follow the big internet online marketers or scammers I call them and when they join a program you know if you can get in when they do they are the inside and thus they are going to make money and so after understanding the steps 1-3 above throw some btc at these....never more than you can assume you will lose.
5. Most important step of all, get your original money out as fast as human possible. They will not allow you to withdraw the deposit so you will only be able to pull out your interest. Do it and get the original deposit back then hopefully if it's still paying you are in the clear, pulling profits out along the way.
6. Understand if it pays 10% a day you will get your original money back in 10 days if all goes well, but do you really expect to make 10% a day for months and years, get real, if you're lucky it will last 30 to 90 days, take the money and run.
7. If it pays 2.2% a day you get your money back in approximately 90 days. 6% you get original back in 17 days, 12 if you're lucky enough to find one that compounds daily. Remember the rule of 72, whether in the stock market or anything take 72 and divide by the interest rate you are given or paying and that will tell you approximately when you will get your capital back. That assumes reinvesting your interest daily, which again you need to compound some but get your original money back so this is where the art vs. science comes in.
8. Number one mistake I see people make is they hear about a program know it pays then they put a little bit of BTC in these programs then after it doubles they get giddy and make a larger deposit then bam, it blows up and you've lost everything. Remember step 3 above, if you're coming to the party late, all the early entry guys are sitting on profits and can pull the sheet out from under you, thus taking your money and leaving you crying over your losses.

These steps while not all encompassing will at least if you're new help you to understand the basics of these programs. Remember nothing lasts forever and these HYIP's certainly do not. If you want to play understand what you can lose as a money manager you must control your risk and the rewards will take care of themselves.

Betrobot - crashed and burned after only a month
Bitwise - still sucking peoples money but will not pay out, AVOID
Gladiacoin - worked great for more than a year, then they ran into trouble, still paying but do not join.
Walletpro - crashed and burned.
