White Hydrangeas.
Here downunder in Australia , Hydrangeas are in full bloom around Christmas time. Their large flower heads are a great sight to see in a garden, and they make really nice cut flowers for a vase to take into the house too. Hydrangeas are better suited to cooler and temperate climates, but are worth a try in warmer zones, as long as you keep the water up to the roots and provide enough shade. These plants are best suited to a semi-shaded position and soil that is well composted so the roots can stay moist and cool. There are many different colours and varieties but most grow to a little over a metre in height. They will drop their leaves in Winter. Show them some love and they will reward you . These white Hydrangeas are growing at the side of a driveway close to the Harbourside in Sydney.
