Firstly: Today being 12, August 2024, I am here to talk about How social media affects our society in both good and bad ways

NOTE: Letb me begin with the definition of social media, Social media may be defined as the means of interactions among people in which they create, share and help exchange information in our society, e.g Facebook, Instagram etc.

Good Effect of social media to our society today

(1)Spreading news:News in any part of the world can be speed easily due to the help of social media

(2)Create opportunities for personal networking platforms: Social media platforms offer opportunities for people to expand their social networks and forge new connections with other individuals around the world that they might not have otherwise encountered. By broadening their professional circles, people can access diverse perspectives, experiences, and resources, which can enrich their lives and enhance their social capital.

Bad effect of social media to the Society today.

(1)Addiction - Social media addiction to me is the worst addiction so far because it can leed to concealing addictive behavior, which can take all your time which would have been used to all achive your goals at the moment, and can also damage the Human eyes and brain

(2)Depression: In most cases social media can leads to depression in the Sense that it makes People feel lonely and Cause anxiety, which might Lead to doing what you're not supposed to do, due to social media influences..
