We Survived Hurricane Matthew!
Well, the storm's intensity didn't reach as far inland as Orlando, despite being warned by local media that we were going to die, and definitely lose power. We did lose a piece of trim from our front porch. It's made of styrofoam. It fell next to this bush, but the subsequent winds haven't moved it from where it landed.
Anyway, we survived. It sounds like there may have been some damage closer to the coast. Praying for Haiti and the destruction it caused there.

Glad you escaped more damage. A 40-mile wobble to the west would have been a different story. I've never considered the positive aspects of styrofoam trim on a house, but I stand enlightened now! : )
