Chinese Bitcoin Exchange OKCoin and Huobi: withdrawals will be available
There are indications that a prolonged freeze of funds in the Chinese bitcoin exchanges will finally cease. A representative of one of the largest exchanges OKCoin confirmed that the withdrawal of funds was resumed. However, he added that the withdrawal of funds will be in accordance with the requirement of an annual limit of $ 1 million.
There are reasons to believe that OKCoin will not be the only exchange that resumes operations to withdraw funds. According to the representative of the Huobi exchange, the withdrawal of funds should also begin here. Representative Huobi also confirmed the beginning of operations on OKCoin. It is not yet clear whether Bitcoin will go to the BTCC exchange for the same steps. The representative of the startup did not respond to the request to comment on the situation.
Some sources associate the situation with the "thawing" of sentiments in the People's Bank of China, which is actively working on the introduction of the R & D detachment and increasingly understands the role of bitcoin.
The freezing introduced on the exchanges due to an increase in the price of btc at the beginning of the year continued for several months after the Chinese exchanges received a warning from regulators, including the People's Bank of China. After freezing of withdrawals, exchanges were forced to restructure their work and make appropriate updates to their systems.
