No good hunting story without some mishaps ;) lucky the boat didn't hurt enyone. That dog sounds like a good hunting dog. Beeing on the trail for so long, tells me he has good tracking instinct! Sounds like you had a great time, even though you didn't get to fire your gun ;) and for the carrying of the meat, I feel you, it's hard work but that's part of the game.

It was a great trip for sure. Best weather we ever had. Almost too dry for the dogs. But when you can lay down on the ground and sleep in the sun in North Norway in October it's pretty nice.
Lets hope you get the same weather for your next trip :)
