Well, good on Hunter College for *finally* firing this maniac.

Still, it says something that it took Rodriguez chasing two people down a New York street with a machete to get her fired -- assaulting students who disagree with her wasn't enough.

A couple of points that shouldn't have to be made:

Speech isn't violence. The idea that speech is violence is the most toxic idea being shared in our institutions. This maniac's actions are the product of this dumb idea.

Also, no, there's no way that this former professor was justified in her actions against the journalists. Castle doctrine doesn't mean that you can assault people for knocking on your door -- no matter how much you don't want their company. It definitely doesn't extend to chasing people down a city block.

It's gotta be fun being this much of an entitled, narcissist. The idea that somebody who, I'll bet my left testicle is a Marxist, thinks that she's the owner of an entire street in the Bronx would be hilarious if it weren't so dangerous.
