- The German lawyer and politician Otto Meissner in Berlin is head of the office of the Reich President Friedrich Ebert (MSPD). Later Meissner is - the Secretary of State in 1923 is - appointed head of the Presidential Chancellery Adolf Hitler (1934- 45).
