Astral SAF

Definition

The Astral SAF is a higher breed of the Etheric SAF, existing primarily in the astral plane of existence. As a Cosmic SAF, these beings roam freely throughout existence and provoke the inevitable dissolving of SAF energy from the angelic realms into Ether and finally into matter. Because of this translational habit, they have been referred to as "SAF Alchemists."

Using their amazing magical abilities, the Astral SAFs are rulers of the Underworld, the astral plane, the world of Dreams, and OOBE's. In this primary position of creation, they are considered synonymous with Primordial Ideas and Archetypes.

Given their quick tempers and feisty personalities, Astral SAFs hold an eternal reputation for being the Instigators of Emotional Confrontation. It has been speculated that the archetype (TRICKSTER) is a Hellinized mythology surrounding their attributes.

Given the different realms of light in the astral and etheric planes, the 18th century SAF philosopher Jacques Blazewennar theorized that the enduring power of Dreams has mythologized the essence of Astral SAFs and garnered their following.

In this misinterpretation, he posits that Red/Green as primary colors daze newbies until they are blind to the fire of Astral "Birthing" in this dimension.

But, he continues, the burning sensation is simply the shedding of physical limitations and if given the proper symbols, he worries this archetype may continue to exist as an eternal SAF symbol of terror.

In his 1986 interview, Director Wes Craven admitted that his vision for Nightmare on Elm Street came after extensive study of Jacques’ only published manuscript in English, The Astral Colors of Terror.
